A Different Way Forward

What I’ve learned about clarity, courage, and sustainable leadership.

I spent nine years in a global corporation, working hard, delivering results, and at times navigating environments that didn’t always honor my voice. For a long time, I pushed through. But eventually I learned that endurance without well-being isn’t strength — it’s survival.

Choosing my peace became my first real act of self-advocacy, and it revealed something I didn’t expect: a gift for helping others communicate with clarity, set boundaries, and lead without losing themselves.

Today, I speak, coach, and facilitate for emerging leaders, changemakers, and organizations shaping what comes next — teaching sustainable self-advocacy rooted in balance, connection, and courage.

Because success shouldn’t require self-sacrifice.

Keeping It G®:

Self-Advocacy in Real Life

Keeping It G® is all about being real, staying grounded and true to yourself while upholding your values despite challenges. It symbolizes integrity, resilience, and using your voice – while empowering others to find and amplify theirs.

It is my signature framework for navigating work, leadership, and relationships with clarity, confidence, and care. It blends personal branding, boundary-setting, and courageous communication into tools people can actually use — from clarity statements to scripts for hard conversations to 30-day micro-action plans.

Where I’m Coming From

When I’m not on stage or leading a strategy session, I’m a traveler, foodie, deep listener, and community builder. I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I serve on the Founders Junior Council at the Detroit Institute of Arts and have previously served on the Detroit Country Day Alumni Association Board.

Whether I’m exploring new cultures, hosting community conversations, or supporting rising leaders, I carry the same values into everything I do: curiosity, connection, courage, and care.
